I believe many descriptions would be required to describe the many sides and layers of me. However, I think I could easily be described as one with many modern attributes but a very traditional core. I have many hobbies, interests and goals towards life that are molded by our modern society, yet there are still accustomed beliefs and values that I treasure and respect.

I love to let my imagination soar, recording its findings on paper, in blogs or merely within the brink of my mind. I have a deep passion for writing my own stories and poetry in both English and Chinese, especially after the flame has been kindled by reading spectacular literary masterpieces.

Along with expressing my thoughts and emotions through writing, I also like to design digital graphics. Discovering the miracles Photoshop could conjure, I was amazed at the artworks that appeared in front of my eyes, below the clicks of my mouse. However, this interaction with Adobe Photoshop has also taught me a valuable lesson. The currency in “photoshopping” is no longer Canadian dollars or British pounds. It is time. Through my experience with Photoshop, I have learned to restrain myself from spending hours in front of the program, as I may for any other activities that are as appealing.
